Master New Skills and Continue to Grow
Your at-home care plans grow and evolve as your child’s skills and needs change.
We want to get to know about you, your family, and the challenges you’re facing at home right now. Our intake form is based on norm-reference clinical assessments that specifically address skill deficits. This helps your clinician understand a variety of your child’s skill levels, preferences, and behavior patterns before your first virtual call together. It should only take about 10 minutes!
Schedule your first video call with your ABA provider from the comfort of your own home. This call allows us to get to know each other better and dive into more details around your current challenges and goals. At the end of this call, your provider will have what they need to form your personalized care plan.
Your provider will send over a step-by-step care plan that is based specifically on your family and your child. This plan is created to take you from where you are now to achieving the goal you’ve set out for your child. We take everything at your pace and focus on one small milestone at a time so that we’re never overwhelming you.
You never have to set up a formal meeting with your provider in order to get support. As you work on your at-home care plan, you can text your provider with questions or updates. In fact, your provider will also be texting to check in on you!
As your child learns to master new skill sets and you gain confidence in your ability to support them along the way, your needs will evolve. You can always schedule more virtual calls, request new at-home care plans, and continue to build on the success your child is already experiencing! Just Parent grows with you.
Just Parent’s Telehealth ABA offers comprehensive autism care in a virtual setting, tailored to your family's unique needs. Typically, families receive 3 hours of BCBA-directed ABA therapy per week, but we flexibly adjust the hours to align with your preferences and requirements.
Telehealth ABA emphasizes active participation from parents and caregivers, promoting a strong family engagement. While commitment to our Telehealth ABA program is pivotal, it is often a more convenient and accessible option compared to in-clinic sessions for your child.
An autism diagnosis can be a scary and stressful time for families. This is why we emphasize care coordination to support families along their autism journey and ensure they receive comprehensive care. Just Parent’s mission is to provide accessible autism care to all families, and coordinated care helps us accomplish just that.
Just Parent works with pediatricians to help families of a child showing early signs of autism to connect with local diagnosticians with low waitlists. We work with diagnosticians to help families with a diagnosis get into comprehensive autism care that fits their needs as quickly as possible.
Who Are Your ABA Providers/Clinicians?
All of our Clinicians are licensed Board Certified Behavior Analysts or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts with extensive experience working with children facing a variety of diagnosis. Dr. Tiva Pierce serves as Head of Clinical Content and oversees all clinicians on our team.
How Does Just Parent's Model Differ From Traditional ABA?
Just Parent is a fully-remote provider of ABA therapy. Instead of spending hours commuting to a clinic, your family receives the care you need from home. Additionally, parents are at the center of our care model. Instead of utilizing Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), parents meet directly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and facilitate behavior change from the comfort of their own home. By partnering directly with clinicians, parents get access to the highest quality care.
Can You Work On More Than One Behavior/Skill At Once?
Your at-home care plan is decided by you and your provider, including how many behaviors are suitable for your child to work on at once. In many cases, we can work on multiple behaviors at a time. You can always build onto your plan as your child learns and grows.
